NwN 2 is a RPG, the game that made me buy it just becouse it was the sequel to NwN, a game that i played and i liked more as an rpg than any other game.

The dialogue in the game is ok, allowing you to talk to any one, allowing you to make your one choices and suffer the consequnces of your choices .

The first impression of the game is ok, the game is very coloured, the spells make a real lights show, the fights are very cool, and the landscapes are ok.The player character is a resident of the tiny village of West Harbor, the place of a titanic battleground where the King of Shadows was thought defeated. The player character’s fate is intricately tied to this historical battle, where the character’s mother was killed and infant character raised by the elven ranger Daeghun Farlong. As the game begins, the player character is a young adult, never having left West Harbor and with little knowledge of his or her history.

The hero’s companion’s are:

Khelgar Ironfist - the good-hearted, fight-loving, mouth-smashing dwarf that will never hesitate to break someone’s theeth if he get’s on his nerves

Neeshka - a neutral thiefling that will join the main character, that will always help around with her lockpicking skills, and sneaking and thing that thiefs do

Elanee - a neutral-good wood-elf, that will join the main character, she is a wood-elf and a druid and will always have nature-oriented and good opinions

Qara - a chaotic-good sorceres, that will join the main character, and beeing one of the main damage dealers because of her fiery powers

Grobnar Gnomehands - a Chaotic Good, Rock Gnome Bard, that will always sing a courage song for you and you team-mates

Casavir - a Lawful Good, Human Paladin, that will join the main character before fighting the big, bad orc boss

Bishop - Chaotic Evil, Human Ranger

Shandra Jerro - Neutral Good, Human Fighter

Sand - Lawful Neutral, Moon Elf Wizard
Zhjaeve - Lawful Neutral, Githzerai Cleric
Ammon Jerro - Neutral Evil, Human Warlock
Construct - True Neutral, Construct Fighter

Graphics, a yeah, one of the most important part of the game, the game’s graphics are pretty decent, but not revolutionary, that means it dosen’t really hurts your eye, but nither please it so it’s ok if i can say so.

The sound track is ok, and it suits the game.

The game life-span is about 40 hours for an average game, and with the side-quest 50 hours.

The game’s price is 29.99 $.

Overall it’s a good game, and worth playing.

Ah……yes the famous Gears of War, when i first learned that Gears of War was going to be released on PC i was very happy but then i remembered that almost each time i was happy a game is going to be ported from console to PC i was disappointed.But……this time it was different, the game was even better than the one on the Xbox 360, it had smooth gameplay, nice graphics, excelent voice acting, an atmosphere that makes you belive you really are Marcus Fenix.

The game is absolutely amazing starting from the very first weapon you get, that gorgeous chainsaw rifle to the sniper, the weapons are all great, the locust are many and ready to kill you.Your teammates from Delta Squad are pretty sharp in combat but sometimes are dumb because they go right into the enemy’s fire.The cool part is that you must get out of your cover just to revive/ressurect them.Speaking about cover, the game’s control are sharp, and very easy to adapt.Just pressing space will get Marcus on cover on anything he find nearby, a car, a wall, a dumpster, etc.From cover you could hold pressed right click and fire accuratly or you could press left click and blindfire.

Overall said the game is sharp, cool, easy, and a pureblood action if you are looking for that.

Gothic 3, is a action-RPG game that was very rushed and it wasn’t very successful because

JoWooD released it before the guys from Piranha games finished it.

Now the game has it’s good parts, like the Huge world worth of exploring, and you have a forest most of the land in the middle, in the north of Myrtana is the cold Nordmar, and in the south there is the hot dessert of Varant.

Now the combat has changed a bit from the two other games that Piranha games produced, because it’s an all around combo fighting not one target like in the two other games.Personally i liked the other fighting mechanics but these are good as well, talking about the game’s graphics, most of them are very impressive because it’s a huge world you can see and be amazed about it.There are a lot of weapons you can use in this game varying from small swords to huge demons swords and crossbows and bows, and you can also use magic if you are a magic adept, but i personally prefer combat not magic.The game’s AI is not very intelligent and someties it can kill itself.Another AI defect is that a simple boar could kill a full armed till it’s teeth that’s not cool.The game was very bugged because of the rushing.

Overall it’s a little disappointing becuase of the rushing the guys from JoWood.Let’s just hope Gothic 4 will be better.

Beowulf, let’s just start by saying that it’s a alright action game, and if you search for something with lots of blood, carnage, killing and brutality Beowulf is a game for you.It’s a action game that follows Beowulf’s life for a 30 year period not seen in the movie.Now the main focus in the game is the way you fight you can fight in the carnal way, gaining huge levels of power but at the cost of your men, or the right way by not going carnal and fighting side by side with your thanes, and thus making both them and you stronger.Now the weapons varry from your bare fist to swords, lances, bones, staves, maces, shields(yes you can fight using shields too), and another cool way of disposing of your enemies is the grapple where you catch the enemy in your grasp and you can throw him, crush him, smash him or steal his weapon(if he has one).It is said that Beowulf has the strength of 30 men, and using that strength you can also use as weapons pillars, stones, baskets and any other thing that can be trowen or used as a weapon against the enemy.Now your enemies vary from simple undead to huge trolls and dragons and sea monsters, as for each of them you need to use a different strategy.

Now the gameplay, after an hour or two can become pretty repetitive and boring, becouse at one moment you will get sick of doing the same old combo, or grapple.The game graphics is pretty good with the post processing enabled and a reasonable resolution of at least 1024 x 768.The sound and the musics are ok, suitable for the game.

Beowulf is not a genere defining game, but neither a end of the bottom, so if you look for some action and an interesting game, you shouldn’t miss Beowulf .

Assassin’s Creed, it, let’s just say one of the best games released this year, and not only becouse it has writen Ubisoft un him.Starting with the great storyline it has about assassins, crusades, ancient egypt, to the very part where it’s gorgeous graphics amazes us with each and every structure being done to such a detail where you belive it’s almost real.

The main plot in the Assassin’s Creed is to eliminate 9 men, who, are the most influential people in the ancient egypt.Once they are eliminated, it is said that the peace will come back.Talking about the main character, Altair is the perfect assassin, capable of climbing any building with ease, assassinate with perfect accuracy and able to become unseen when the situation requires it.His ring finger was amputaed as part of his initiation in the Assassin’s Creed, and to be able to use his hidden blade for assassination.

As for the other weapons Altair can use there are the small blade wich is very useful in all the fights for quick counters becouse almost every time it’s killing the one you counterd, and there is the normal blade wich i guess is the one you will use almost each time, and there are the bare fist wich, i guess you will use them only for interogations becouse the are useless against armed guards, and there is the hidden blade, a blade useful for assassasinations and not only.

As for the end of the review, Assassin’s Creed is a game available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, so if you got the chance, money and want to play a good game, you shouln’t miss Assassin’s Creed.

The Witcher, let’s just say that 2007 wasn’t a too great year for the RPG-s, it wasn’t just a not so great year for the RPG-s, it was the WORSE DAMN YEAR for the RPG-s, but it all this thing, one of the only 2 good RPG-s is The Witcher.

Now, talking about the game, The Witcher has some very interesting combat mechanics, pretty simple, and yet very intresting, and it’s about timing your atacks to result a combo of 2,3,4 or 5 strikes.Now the game main characteris Gearlt, a witcher, who everyone thought he died, but wakes up follwed by something, and he reaches at the Fortress of Kaer Morhen, an ancient witcher fortess, where all the witchers have thier origin.

Now, talking about witchers, they are a special kind of human, mutated by using of specials potions, and all looking pale, almost like a dead.They have super human strength, agility, preception(and in Geralt’s case also charisma).

Now the main porpuse of the witchers are monster killing, because witchers are professional monster killers, and they are born and trained to do that thing since childhood.It is said that a witcher has no emotion, an unparalled sword mastery and skills to acomplish anything.What will you see in the game just proves everything that is said about a witcher is true, becouse Geralt is a witcher, if not the best witcher.

The Club is a moder shooter,where 9 guys, 9 killers are kinnaped and forced to play an underground blood-sport, and the winner is set free and gets a whole lot of money and infamy.

Now,resuming at the game, the whole point of this game is shooting the enemies while finding an exit to your curent level, and the one with the highest score wins.There are different ways of obtaining a huge score, including headshots, certian parts of body shots, such as hand, feet, legs, neck, shoulder, forearms, etc.

There are a lot of weapons to use in this game,starting from a simple pistol to the most complex and interesting rifle on the market.You start each level with 3 weapons, + the ones you get from the guys you kill, the ones in certain places, such as secret areas are especially more powerful than the regular ones.

The Club features a roster of eight playable characters, each of them purportedly play differently as a result of their individual speed, strength, and stamina attributes, the most well-balanced being Killen and Renwick. Current previews have shown Dragov, an escaped prisoner from Russia; Renwick, a former New York police officer; Finn, an American gambler with life-threatening debts; Seager, an extreme sports junkie from Canada; Kuro, a Japanese double-agent posing as a Traid Society assassin; Killen, an Australian legend in The Club whose daughter’s life is at stake; Adjo, a Nigerian man with a mysterious and violent past forced to play to keep the village he protects safe; and Nemo, a psychopathic man from England who only lives to kill.

With all these said, The Club is a average, worth of playing for fun,but not a game wich you cand spend very much time.

Infernal is an nice fantasy shooter, where you are Ryan Lennox, a fallen angel, drinking at a bar with a friend, but after a few moments you are assaulted by heavenly corporation, as a bunch of troopers attack you, you’re only option for revenge is to join the hell corporation.As you joined the bad guys, you are blessed with infernal powers, and that powers are to teleport around, levitate objects, see the invisible and fire powerful magical blasts.

Lennox arsenal of weapons isn’t to big, but nither to small either, as he gets to wield a nice colection of weapons.The story is prety cool, the graphics are amazing for a game like this one, the sound is ok, but the bad part is the dull shooting, as for about 30min or 1h you will get bored shooting the same repetitive enemies.One cool thing about game’s power is the soul absotion thing, wich as i said it’s cool at the begging but in time you will get bored with it, it can scan the dead enemies body, of any weapons, keys & stuff like that, it also replenishs your health.

Overall,if the game’s shooting mechanics and enemies wouln’t be so dull this will be a great game.

With good play engine and and fantastic music, this game make fill like i was in a real story. What did i like so much was the mode that we can control two personages in the same time, this give me power.

I was sorry for not could play the second one, Drakan 2 on PC.
