A cruel and bloody war with the southern empire of Nilfgaard and the elves has recenly ended, but left the northern lands ravished and destroyed. The reign of quarrelling and short-sighted kings is falling. Amongst the chaos and confusion, a new bastion of peace rises - The Order of the Burning Rose. The monk-knights promise to bring peace and prosperity, and unite all the Nordling realms. The knights claim that the coming frost may only be defeated by the power of fire, which they worship. However the ones to survive the cataclysm are generally the pure-blooded Nordlings. The Order is getting more and more powerful. It has been given lands in the kingdom of Aedrin and fights there against the elves from the Valley of the Flowers. The monks want to win favors of the monarchs from the twelve northern realms, and strive to acquire the wastelands inhabited by elves.”

The Witcher, let’s just say that 2007 wasn’t a too great year for the RPG-s, it wasn’t just a not so great year for the RPG-s, it was the WORSE DAMN YEAR for the RPG-s, but it all this thing, one of the only 2 good RPG-s is The Witcher.

Now, talking about the game, The Witcher has some very interesting combat mechanics, pretty simple, and yet very intresting, and it’s about timing your atacks to result a combo of 2,3,4 or 5 strikes.Now the game main characteris Gearlt, a witcher, who everyone thought he died, but wakes up follwed by something, and he reaches at the Fortress of Kaer Morhen, an ancient witcher fortess, where all the witchers have thier origin.

Now, talking about witchers, they are a special kind of human, mutated by using of specials potions, and all looking pale, almost like a dead.They have super human strength, agility, preception(and in Geralt’s case also charisma).

Now the main porpuse of the witchers are monster killing, because witchers are professional monster killers, and they are born and trained to do that thing since childhood.It is said that a witcher has no emotion, an unparalled sword mastery and skills to acomplish anything.What will you see in the game just proves everything that is said about a witcher is true, becouse Geralt is a witcher, if not the best witcher.
